BYU coach Kalani Sitake knows all the usual cliches as the No. 8 Cougars prepare to take on No. 2 Notre Dame in a prime-time contest Saturday.

Every game is important. Treat every opponent the same. Block out the noise.

Yet Sitake is willing to acknowledge the truth. This game is different.

The Steelers anticipated having Jalen Ramsey, Jamel Dean, Jaquan Brisker and Asante Samuel Jr. involved in the secondary this season in a significant way.

Less expected have been the contributions of rookies Daylen Everette and Robert Spears-Jennings, considering the wealth of experience ahead of them at cornerback and safety, respectively. But amid roster moves and injuries, the third-round pic
